Why did Jesus speak the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven in parables? Why is it that, hearing the same word, some understand it and some do not?
This book examines the parables of Matthew chapter 13 in connection with the word of chapters 9–12. It makes clear how the authority to remit sins and the compassion toward sinners, the disciples’ preaching of the gospel, the testimony of John the Baptist, and the rest the Lord gives are connected with the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.
