The Book of Joshua is often read as the story of Israel’s conquest of Canaan and its victories in war. But the heart of Joshua chapters 1 through 12 is not human courage or strength; it is God’s salvation. It shows how God leads sinners across the Jordan into the land of promise and makes them enjoy the remission of sins and true rest.
This book explains Joshua chapters 1 through 12 from the perspective of the gospel of the water and the Spirit.
